I - BIRTH ON THE FARM   Extended Description

• Visit the sixth largest dairy in the US (over 6000 cows) and a large cow/calf ranch in Idaho. Experience the feeding, milking, and other farm scenes, including the birth of new calves.
  
• See a lambing operation and the shearing thousands of sheep. Go to a large hog farm and see what goes on there. Many cute shots of lambs and piglets with their mothers and witness with other children how they are born.
  
• Take a trip to domestic elk and buffalo herds. Get up close to these magnificent creatures and watch as they give birth.
  
• See every season! Go from winter to early calving, to spring time branding and shearing, including elk calving, an ld time harvest and a fall roundup.

This family video, running about 60 minutes, is entertaining to young and old alike! If you ever lived on a farm, take a trip back to the good ol' days!

III - BIRTH ON THE FARM Where do babies come from?

* Includes everything in Birth on the Farm plus a human birth! Actual scenes of a complete birth edited for family viewing. COMING THIS FALL
All the births in volume I (above), but a bit less farm activity.
Includes a short segment on breeding.

The scene shows the bulls being put in with the cows for the first part of summer so that they will all calve within the same window of time next season. We show it like it is because that's how we saw it as kids - enough is seen to get the point then we cut away.

Ends with a human birth in respectful good taste. The scene shifts as the baby is received to show less of the mother and focus on the beautiful baby.
